Currently the Sustainability and Recycling Manager of Associated Students Sustainability and Recycling Services. Responsible for managing the facility operations of the new LEED Platinum Sustainability Center which features Net Zero Energy standards. Accountable for driving transformational change in priority areas of AS and campus sustainable practices through advocacy, student development, and partnerships. Since 2004, I have worked passionately for AS Recycling Services and the university managing and diverting recyclables from the waste stream while connecting with the student population, campus partners, and the community. I enjoy being part of the growing discussion on sustainability and is excited to continue to engage with students, facility, and staff about the sustainability triple bottom approach, best facility, sustainability, and operations practices as well as the future of the Sustainability field.
