My responsibility as process engineer is support to the local production management.The projects I lead within Icopal are:- Stabilize the production process in matter of quality and reliability. - Transfer new products from R&D stage to full commercial production process.- Continuous production optimization to reduce cost prices.- Increase the production efficiency by reducing down time (SMED tool).- Calculate and analyse the amount of production waste and set up projects to reduce the production waste.- Improve production analyse system (OEE) and production planning toolMy responsibilities of the day to day activities are:- Owner of the OEE production system.- Adviser in case of acute production problems (trouble shooting).- Support sales team in technical capabilities of our production process.- Technical adviser to solve raw material problems with suppliers.- Calculate cost price of new developed products.- Owner of the cost price system BaaN.

Icopal Synthetic Membranes is gespecialiseerd in het produceren van technische folie welke worden toegepast in verschillende markten zoals: agri-culture, bouw, rioolrenovatie (CIPP) en civil engineering (geomembranen). Binnen deze organisatie bekleed ik een dubbel functie als account manager / product development engineer.Als acccount manager ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de verkoop van de technische folies. Bij deze verkoop wordt op maat geadviseerd welk product geschikt is voor de toepassing van de klant.Als product developemt engineer ben ik dagelijks druk met het ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten en optimaliseren van bestaande productie processen van de technische folies.

MSD (voorheen Organon) is een wereldwijd opererend farmaseutisch bedrijf. Binnen MSD ben ik actief geweest bij de afdeling API-PD (Active Pharmaseutical Ingridient Process Development).Binnen API-PD zat ik in een team welke zich bezig hield met proces optimalisatie en troubleshooting. Bij proces optimalisatie werd het gehele proces van een API geanalyseerd en onderzocht waar verbetering mogelijk was. Bij trouble shooting werden acute problemen direct opgepakt en zo snel mogelijk gezocht naar een directe effectieve oplossing.
