Research Scientist
Planned and executed many weapons development experiments. Performed all phases of test planning, execution, data analysis and reporting for full scale, multi-million-dollar experiments to help develop special weapons for use against chemical and biological targets. Gained a solid understanding of statistics including, data distributions, data sampling techniques, and confidence intervals from years of analyzing, plotting and interpreting data. Supported numerous programs focused on methods of defeating chem/bio weapons by performing target modeling using intelligence data and 13 years Air Force experience with munitions storage practices, performing modeling and simulations (M&S) of target damage caused by inventory and conceptual weapons, and performing M&S of atmospheric dispersion and collateral effects. Performed end user testing and regression testing of M&S codes. Assisted program manager with up to eleven simultaneous contracts ensuring deliverables, budgets and schedules were met. Wrote and edited hundreds of easy to understand technical documents including: monthly progress reports, software documentation and user manuals, test plans, test execution procedures, data analysis plans, test reports, required briefings, detailed technical reports with statistical results tables and graphs, deficiency identification and fielding recommendations to accurately describe results and problems encountered during testing.
