He served as commissioner on the California/Nevada High Speed Ground Transportation commission, President of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Desert Area Chapter, and President of the Desert Chapter of the Association of Graduates U.S. Military Academy. He also served as a member of the Advisory Board, California State University, San Bernardino/Coachella Valley Center, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Canyon Springs Hospital, and President of the Humane Society of the Desert and is an Honorary Life Member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. He also served as President and CEO of Sales and Marketing Executives International of Tampa Bay. He is a member, emeritus, of the Dean’s Circle, College of Business Administration, University of South Florida, a member of the Rotary Club of Tampa (Rotarian since 1978) , the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Medical Group Board, the CEO Council and the Tampa Bay Area Committee on Foreign Relations and is a recent Graduate of Leadership Tampa. Arnhym is married (wife, June), has two married daughters and four grandchildren. He is an active tennis and golf player.
