Researched models to predict dementia (amyloid status and PACC score) from MRIs with RVoxM (a Bayesian approach for 3D imaging data) and other machine learning techniques. Developing brain-predicted age measure to estimate patient age from FreeSurfer subcortical segmentation and cortical parcellation measures with GPR and SVM.

Outpace builds optimization solutions for the enterprise that generate profit - quickly. It combines sophisticated algorithms on large data sets with rapid iteration to generate value across many core enterprise functions: digital marketing, supply chain, customer segmentation, and more.Joined Outpace as it was in the process of scaling from startup to small company. Worked with the executive team to clarify and prioritize the organization's portfolio of product development. As a member of the core product team, conducted market, user and competitor analysis, define vertical/horizontal opportunities and build the product roadmap. Helped evaluate the technology roadmap around our 'big data' storage approach.

As a member of the Chicago Market Team, built demand, managed client accounts and relationships, and consulted with clients on IT organizational improvement, devops and architecture. Clients industries included banking, airlines, pharmaceuticals, and library technology.

Co-founded and co-led ThoughtWorks' first office in Africa. Grew the business to $4 million annualized with 35 people. Our clients including the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), Africa's largest health insurer and an innovative startup building a solution to safeguard against medicine counterfeiting. Sold accounts including the JSE, built the demand organization, managed the JSE client relationship, oversaw finance and operations, and most importantly helped to build the right culture with the right people.

Founded and led the Continuous Delivery & DevOps Practice. Promoted Continuous Delivery and DevOps across the industry, positioned ThoughtWorks as the leader in this space, drove demand and grew our internal capabilities. The practice grew to include 6 regions - US, Brazil, Europe, India, China and Australia. Continuous Delivery and DevOps became the top inbound new client request at ThoughtWorks for several years.

Managed and led teams of up to 30 developers, analysts and testers delivering a variety of software systems including the algorithm execution platform for a $150B hedge fund, an ISP's broadband provisioning system, and the build/deploy/environments team for a $2T asset manager.

Worked as a member of development teams for projects including the point-of-sale for Europe's largest retailer, an ISP's broadband provisioning system and a financial trade settlement system.

Sixth employee in a startup building a solution for commodity supply chain management. Designed and implemented Simulation component for trialing purchase strategies against risk and cost.
