A spiritual experience sparked my new journey to make our workplaces inclusive for persons with disabilities. That has led me on this path of relentlessly creating opportunities for the specially-abled, and I don't intend to rest until I see our workplaces as a true reflection of our society. I was blessed with over 15 years of experience working across a few continents, and managing diverse teams (nationalities, gender, sexual preferences, disabilities, age, tenure) across 80 countries. I have had the privilege and responsibility to manage large budgets of over $150million in supply chain expenses and delivering outstanding results. Over these years, I have experienced the power of inclusive leadership, where people feel safe and excited to bring their best selves. If you give a diverse set of people a safe place and a shared goal, the outcome is much richer and the experience much more memorable. That makes me a strong proponent of DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and I am constant student of the behaviors that make this a part of our culture and workplaces.
