Sefa is the Faculty Association for Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam. With over 4500 members Sefa is one of the leading associations in The Netherlands. More than 60 events are organized every year by 35 committees among which the Sefa Career Month, Room for Discussion and the Amsterdamse Carrière Dagen (Amsterdam Career Days). The daily management of the association and supervision of the committees lies with the board with a workload of 60 hours a week.As Project Officer within the Sefa board, I am responsible for the supervising of all the large career events that are organized by Sefa, namely Accountancy Tour, Amsterdam Marketing Challenge, Amsterdamse Carriere Dagen (Amsterdam Career Days), Consultancy Event, International Career Event, Masters of Finance, The top of Tax, Sefa Career Month and the Sefa Conference. Besides this, I develop a vision on the long term goals of the projects.An overview of my tasks as Project Officer:• Responsible for Sefa’s largest career projects and it's long term strategy• Guiding committees in the fields of planning and acquisition• Setting out commercial policy together with the Commercial Officer• Recruiting suitable career committee members
