People say I'm an idea person; innovative and fearless. My strengths are coming up with fresh perspectives for established and progressive businesses. I just sold my first company 4Good Thrift, and I currently own 3 other companies. One being Transfer Station Thrift Store, which is a partnership with the county of Hawaii. I operate 7 reuse center for our island and employ 25 employees offering a fair cost of living wage and have diverted over 4 million pounds of reusable materials from our islands landfill. A couple years ago I got an idea to open a little retail store in Kona; a rock shop that offers crystals, jewelry, essential oils, sage and more. I saw a need for fair pricing and an inviting & inclusive space, thus leading to the opening of Luhia St. Crystal Co in 2018. It was an instant hit, and I am very grateful for the spot we have found in our community.Then came the lock down... I decided I could possibly watch everything slip away, or I could be brave and advance my company. As soon as we were permitted to leave our houses I expand to Reno, South Lake Tahoe, & Santa Monica. I have re-branded my crystal stores and now operate these businesses under Cabin Creek Crystals. We offer our unique take on a crystal store; Everyone is welcome, our prices are fair and we want you feel comforted like you do when you visit a cabin. In these challenging times any way we can offer a fun safe experience, I feel, is a positive.
