In 1975, at the age of 15, Rolly started working for Bill Graham Presents, starting as a ticket checker and becoming a assistant stage manager at 17. Whether it was Day on the Green sets, flying Bill over the crowd on New Years, Building venues like shoreline the word "no"​ did not exist.While attending the University of Pacific Rolly developed the number one NACA student run special events program in the USA, producing over 30 live events.Rolly was hired out of UOP in !983 as the Assistant production, road, tour manager for Kenny Loggins's, 1984 USA, Asia and Europe supporting the Top Gun and Footloose sound tracks..For the opening Season of Shoreline Amphitheater, Rolly acted as the Assistant to General and Operations Managers. After leaving Rolly continued to oversee most large construction projects, and continues today to supply Project Management, product and services as a vendor.. In the fall of 1985 he started at FM Productions where he managed projects for Disney, Universal, Apple, IBM, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, etc. Rolly started Steele Productions in 1989. In seven years Steele Productions grew to a large, production scenic staging company comprising over 65,000 square feet and a staff of over 40. Capabilities, under one roof, included Design, Project management, wood, metal and softgood fabrication, full scenic and rental. Some projects were Pepsi's and Bechtel's 100th anniversaries, United Nations 50th Anniversary, Francis Coppola's outdoor screening of NapoleonSteele Productions was sold to Sparks Exhibits in 1997 and Rolly, as VP of Sales and Marketing spearheaded several projects that produced ground breaking approaches to Exhibit projects that integrated theater craft and production into unique international exhibits.In 2000 Rolly started Production Art Network: Purpose: Establish, Budget and Advance Unique Scopes of Work for One Off, Time Sensitive Projects, and then, Execute in a performance environment effectively.
