About Ole Rølvaag
CEO of Eika Økonomi and the Group Head of Brands & Innovation at Eika Gruppen, the third largest Norwegian banking group with a strong focus on SMEs and retail clients. With over 13 years of experience in Eika Gruppen and Aktiv Real Estate, I currently lead the group's strategic initiatives at the intersection of banking, accounting and professional services. The focus of work is still within my areas of core competence; integrating identity, strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, branding, customer experience and business insights - while delivering new business and corporate ventures with the aim of creating sustainable value for all our stakeholders. I am educated in leadership and change management from Oslo and Lund in Sweden, I have a degree in Communication Studies (BACS) from Edinburgh and executive certificates in Economics of Mutuality (EoM) and Digital Business Strategy (DBS) from Oxford and Columbia Business Schools. From 2004 to 2009, I co-founded The Hauge Institute, which played a pivotal role in the formation of The Hauge School of Management (HSM) at NLA University College. Today, I proudly serve as business mentor to some of their 500+ dedicated students in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship and innovation. I have recently guest lectured and presented case studies for final exams at various universities and ex ed programs in the Nordics (i.e. HI, HSM, NHH and NTNU). I am passionate about helping leaders, teams and entrepreneurs realise visions for human, social and business transformation and multi-dimensional value creation. I co-developed the powerful leadership tool Identity Leadership (ID-L), an integrated concept for purpose and values as corporate foundations for strategy, culture, branding and execution. Hence, I am a strong believer in the power of authentic identity, as driver for sustainable business and leadership, in particular when combined with the business model, management and investment innovation The Economics of Mutuality. I serve as an Advisory Board Member for the Brandinnova Research Center at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where I get to collaborate with academic and industry experts on cutting-edge research and best practices in the area of Identity Leadership & Economics of Mutuality (EoM), branding, innovation, sustainable value creation and entrepreneurship.NOTE: Messages expressed from this profile are those of the author, and do not necessarily represent the views of Generator, Eika Gruppen, or any of their their affiliated companies or institutions.

The Hauge Institute is a national centre for ethical reflection and servant leadership, inspired by the work and life of Hans Nielsen Hauge (1771-1824). Hauge was recently ranked as the 5th most significant historical figure in Norway, in a survey conducted by Norway's daily national, VG ("The last 200 years most significant historical figures, 1814-2014").
