As part of the core management group of six individuals, I planned and oversaw the day to day operations of Toronto’s first large scale multi- media entertainment venue and club• responsible for all major special events within the venue including Circa’s Gala Opening, Fashion Week, art exhibits, film screenings• created marketing plans for each new event• worked with two others to create weekly Friday night events• oversaw a personal team of 8 people• responsible for online social networking initiatives including Facebook• provided tours to media outlets, potential investors, and city officials• responsible for engaging and recruiting contract promoters, dancers, performers, artists and DJs from around the world
