Started during Miami Hack Week 2023 and continued as part of the first cohort of the Built In Miami accelerator program.

➤ Led team of 25 that included Engineering, Product, Design, QA & IT. ➤ This was my first experience at a very early stage startup. Joined as employee number 12 just after they raised a Series A. Got to experience the company growing from $1M ARR to over $15M ARR, and going from 12 employees to about 55. ➤ Established a DevOps culture with best practices for continuous integration/delivery that led to more frequent releases (multiple times a day) with fewer bugs and maintaining >99.9% availability. All infrastructure changes managed as code using Terraform.➤ Worked closely with Legal and Operations teams to achieve SOC 2 & ISO 27001/27017 certification.➤ Added deployments in Australia and Europe and ensured compliance with GDPR.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cloud Ecosystem team, my area of focus is on building out the company’s identity and access control infrastructure to support all possible customer touch points, e.g. ML hardware, mobile apps, web, etc.➤ Designed and implemented identity / access control APIs following OAuth / OpenID specifications (Golang). ➤ Automated deployment of APIs on AWS (Lambda, RDS, Dynamo, API Gateway) using Terraform.➤ Created dashboards to monitor API usage and anomalies using SumoLogic. ➤ Provided identity/auth Golang SDKs for other cloud teams to leverage.➤ Integrated our identity system with external 3rd party systems such as Hubspot CRM, Contentful CMS and Twilio

➤ Responsible over 15 engineers across three teams: Payroll, Core HR, and QA➤ Worked closely with Product Managers of both product teams to plan out roadmaps and forecast capacity using Kanban metrics➤ Acted as Product Manager for QA Team. Responsible for designing quality gates as part of CI/CD pipeline and providing training/tools/consulting for product development teams on testing practices

➤ Led team of 14 developers + 4 QA➤ Responsible for architecture, quality, security and technical roadmap of the Recruiting product.➤ Worked with team to define engineering best practices and patterns (e.g. adopting style guides, establishing code reviews, testing patterns, domain modeling, etc)➤ We were the first team in the company to implement feature toggling to facilitate rolling out features and lowering product downtime on upgrades.

➤ Part of founding team for new Recruiting product. ➤ Started from scratch with .NET MVC framework, Knockout.js, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, following DDD principles.➤ Migrated from SQL Server to MongoDB - big remodel of data access layer.

➤ Worked on research and development team building a next generation metadata-driven platform. ➤ Was part of the Data team working on building out DSLs for persistence models with .NET WebAPI and MongoDB. ➤ Built a multilingual search engine service leveraging Elasticsearch.

➤ Was part of the team responsible for integrating the core HR systems with products that were acquired, licensed, or partners. These products were called the "On-Demand" products because they could be purchased a la carte. These products included Recruitment, Onboarding, Time Management, Performance Management, and Learning Management.➤ Worked on building and maintaining batch and real-time syncs between systems (Windows services, SQL Server triggers, event queues, REST APIs)➤ Worked on rewriting smoke test suite with C# and Selenium

Worked on team that developed/maintained tools that were built in-house: web automation toolkit, software deployment tool, UI testing suites.

Develop plugins on top of Stanford's Protégé for visualizing different aspects of OWL ontologies. Researched ways to extract geo-spatial information from natural language.

Taught 6th grade Computers, 6th grade Math, Algebra I, Honors Robotics, Computer Science.

Performed help desk services, such as password reset and connection troubleshooting. Also created reports of call center analytics (call volume, ticket creation, resolution time, etc).
