About Roma Arora

I am a legal professional with around 16 years of work experience. I started my career in 2005, with a boutique law firm as an Associate, wherein I advised global clients on issues including setting up business in India, mergers, acquisitions, JVs, financial collaborations of foreign companies with Indian companies and strategizing their IP in India. I then joined as an inhouse attorney with Reliance ADA Group where I handled commercial & labour litigations of the group besides commercial contracts and general advisory. Currently, I am working as Jt. GM Legal with Havells Group where I handle strategic global issues including global IP development & protection. I am leading the global IP team of the Havells group.I have lead and strategised:• Integration of Sylvania IP post the acquisition of the Global giant by Havells Group. • Havells Sylvania’s IP Portfolio (Trademarks, Copyright, Patents & Designs) while directly dealing with law firms in around 100 countries. .
