I joined school teaching in Delhi at a very young age because I was fond of teaching and wanted to influence children positively . After teaching adolescents for nearly 28 years, my focus started drifting towards their frustrations with difficulty in choices of subjects & careers available and behavioural issues. I upgraded my professional qualification and skills to be a school counsellor from NCERT . I took additional training for psychometric testing from iDream Careers . The confidence that my students, their parents , my colleagues and my mentors show in me is my motivation . I want every adolescent to get right guidance and counselling to maximise her/ his potential and live a happy life .
