Developed and enhanced the Mobile Transaction Platform (MTP) client software toolkit on the Android Platform. - Designed and developed the abstraction layer to bind actions to view events, exception handling and reporting, interpretation layer for converting binary displayable content sent by server to Android view hierarchy, dialog display and management, HTTP communication and related application level security. - Extended the DroidDraw tool to convert proprietary MTP client screen layout xml files used by the J2ME- based client toolkit to Android layout, theme and menu xml files apart from auto-generation of relevant Activity classes and the corresponding manifest file. - Designed a state engine to execute business workflows on the client. - Went from conceptualization to deliverable software in a record 3 months.
