I am quite passionate about rules that govern humans, whether they be issued by parliaments, sacred texts, social habits/customs or any other source. Understanding how much they are relative to the environment in which they were issued gives a perspective that allow me (or us, lawyers) to look at rules or laws in a different manner as most people.To that effect and due to personal circumstances during my childhood, I initially specialized in criminal law and criminal procedures. I evolved towards insolvency and fraud laws/practices and experienced in the Middle East region the true meaning of international business law. Over the last 13 years in the Middle East region, I have had the chance to develop a know-how, directly or on a management basis, on various other areas of law in the Gulf Cooperation Countries, in Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt, and kept a track of legal developments in France and the European Union in general. Fields of expertise are now as much related to divorce and execution in other countries, to establishing joint ventures in the region, litigating construction claim in front of an arbitral tribunal or a court, handling complex labor issues, assisting clients for real estate related issues, or for investment or commercial brokerage, or defending victims of serious frauds.
