Managing sales, systems design and troubleshooting.

Main activities include:-Customer/Dealer support on technical queries/Quotes and commercial. -Customer facing during trips to visit clients and at events.-R&D input towards development of new products and current product improvements.-Input in company strategic plans

-Oversee the refit of a 45m Vitters ketch. -Support with technical and financial opperations. -First point of contact between owner's team and the shipyard.

Undertaking marine and component surveying work in the Northern Spain region. Includes all aspects of Statutory and Class related items on new builds and existing ships.

Currently progressing through the Lloyds Register Graduate scheme, allowing me to gain exposure to the various areas of the industry.The main areas are as follows:- 4 month shipyard placement completed at Babcock in Devon- 4 Month Outport placement, shadowing surveyors and participating in the active surveying process completed at Southampton- 2 Month engineering courses at the Warsash Maritime Academy ( STCW Fire and Safety Courses ,Welding Techniques and Processes, Marine Plant Operations, Engine Control Room and Bridge Simulators, Manufacturing, Electrical systems and High Voltage Safety). - 8 Month Office rotations offering exposure to all aspects of the industry within LR.-4 Month Outport Placement in LR's Bilbao office covering the north of Spain. Activities carried out in this area included: Factory acceptance tests for machinery, material surveys, new construction projects and existing ship surveys. This placement merged into my surveyor on development years in the same region with extended periods in Barcelona and Ferrol to assist with projects.
