As a Business Developer at ACD (a Bio-Techne brand), I focus on driving new business in the biotech and biopharma sectors by engaging in in-depth scientific conversations and finding solutions to experimental challenges in preclinical, translational and clinical research. Additionally, I work on enhancing the adoption of RNAscope in diagnostics for hospitals across Benelux, the UK, and the Nordics. As a Sales Specialist at Bio-Techne, I provide scientific consultancy and support to researchers in the Benelux region who are interested in utilizing RNAScope technology in their research. I work with a team of spatial biology experts to ensure that researchers have access to the latest advancements and techniques in the field. By traveling to meet with academics and industry researchers, I am able to provide personalized support and guidance tailored to their specific research needs. My expertise in RNAScope technology and spatial biology allows me to help researchers achieve their research goals and make significant contributions to the scientific community.

During my PhD work in neuroscience, I developed a wide range of skills that have prepared me for a career in scientific research. I worked with multiple animal and in vitro models, gaining extensive experience in techniques such as immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and fluorescence imaging. Additionally, I became skilled in small animal surgery and gene therapy with AAV delivery in mouse models.However, the most valuable skills I developed during my PhD were those related to project management, collaboration, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. I learned how to drive a scientific project from inception to completion, carefully designing experiments and coordinating the work of multiple researchers. I also developed a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues that arose during experiments, using my knowledge of experimental techniques to troubleshoot and find solutions to challenging problems.Through these experiences, I developed excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team towards a common goal. Overall, my PhD work has prepared me to take on the challenges of scientific research and to make meaningful contributions to research.
