1. Provide end-user support: Plan, coordinate, facilitate and/or train Country Office users in IT applications and equipment (software and hardware). Provide technical assistance to users of computers, portable devices, office, presentation, and videoconference equipment, local and corporate applications; including installation, configuration, testing, technical advice, and problem resolution.2. Support ARC operations: Assist in the analysis, development, and maintenance of information systems, management reports, and Internet. Provide consulting advice on IT components of ARC projects/operations.3. Support the Country Office IT infrastructure: Planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the Country Office IT infrastructure, including telephones, local area network, servers, computers, and video conference equipment. Coordinate IT service contracts with external providers. Plan and recover the IT infrastructure in case of disaster.4. Plan, coordinate, and report Country Office IT activities: Develop an action plan to meet the proposed IT goals of the Country Office. Assist in the selection, hiring, and supervision of TI consultants and contractors. Provides procedural and/or technical work guidance to junior staff. Act as the liaison of the IT Infrastructure Division with the Country Office, and with IT teams based in headquarters.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with third-party service providers. • Install and maintain all servers hardware and software to agreed standards. • Manage the IP addressing scheme, plus sub-netting to optimize the system. • Develop and implement an effective maintenance and service routine for IT infrastructure equipment. • Install, configure and maintain an effective antivirus regime for the organization. • Develop and maintain a system backup procedure for disaster recovery. • Resolve network-, computer- and user- related issues. • Examine nightly backup to ensure success and schedule next backup. • Monitor servers and network performance for optimal operation. • Install and maintain a healthy Windows Active Directory environment. • Document problem resolutions and work performed for future reference. • Ensure that end users can use their computers and access the network productively. • Perform user training, responding to their request.
