About Rom Amasay

Hello, my name is Rom and I am a University of Central Florida Burnett Honors College graduate currently working as a Test Engineer at Edwards Systems. There I run high level tests on developing and old fire alarm systems, writing defects and working with other engineers to solve problems. I have three years of experience researching the Deflagration to Detonation Transition and detonation based engines and in the summer of 2023 I also had the pleasure of interning with L3Harris as a manufacturing engineer. I researched and presented my own Thesis in 2023 and led my senior design team to excellent results in 2024. Well versed in Confluence, Jira, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Teamcenter,XFLR5, and MATLAB.
