Oversees the day-to-day operational activities of employees providing services for Vehicle Inspection, Private Security, Ignition Interlock Device and Metals Recycling Entities within the South Texas area. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work flow of others to accomplish objectives and the mission of RSD and to ensure quality work is completed in compliance with State and Federal laws.

• Identify proper testing and inspection techniques prior to conducting any quality audits of material. • Accurately inspect, verify and authenticate material, associated documents and certifications prior to induction and issue to follow contractual requirements. • Ensure Government Regulations and Sikorsky/New Breed quality standards are enforced and complied with. • Certify incoming and outgoing Government Acceptance forms’ authenticity. • Manage QA aspects of historically tracked material; cure dated material; serialized items, non-conforming material and flight safety parts. • Utilize electronic databases and other technical references to collect and analyze data to conduct audits of possible nonconforming material with CCAD and Sikorsky Quality engineers. • Quarantine, store and process nonconforming material in accordance with AS9120 requirements. • Manage calibration of inspection and test equipment.

• Actively participated in the successful preparation for AS9120 Certification. • Created, applied and maintained standard work procedures that improved process efficiency. • Supported the EH&S and FOD programs by following all Army, Derco, Sikorsky and UTC guidelines. • Assisted EH&S Lead in completing and maintaining EH&S Zone inspections and 6S inspections monthly that lead to a successful VPP audit and certification. • Maintained and tracked logs that recorded and reported material discrepancies that helped develop relative corrective action plans. • Created relevant standard work procedures to meet AS9120 requirements for calibrated equipment.
