Many proposals were to complex. This improvement was not implemented due to its complexity and international character. Most of proposal were more oriented on daily challenges of the IT operation department – Building systems for knowledge sharing based on modeler, Visualization of selected service objects in Asset Management tool in VISIO, preparing big pictures for many processes (mostly in the frame of ITIL implementation) and running IT projects. Many diagrams from MS VISIO and Enterprise Architect are still on the walls of HP account managers and VW COO manager. During the 8 years of modeling there are hundreds of diagrams. Many of them are still close to reality. I have introduced the new a paradigm for preparing ‘paper’ documentation- ‘Documentation is obsolete in the moment of printing; Actual information can be in model only’.

Customer: WTE (Wabash Technologies s. s r.o.)Project type: Production of components for AutomotiveActivities:- Building End Of line Testers,- SCADA systems,- horizontal & vertical integration (realization of slogan “Right Information for Right Role in the Right Time” at the corporation level),- Core team member of Global Manufacturing System group (US, UK, SK, Mexico)Skills applied: Technology – LabVIEW, LabWindows, TestStand, SCADAResults: I was responsible for End Of Line testing of final products for approximately 14 production lines. We have standardized many internal processes in very competitive environment. Internally-we have 2 colleagues from UK – specialist for National Instruments Technologies and externally – we had to reach output quality at level of 2ppm (parts per million). Environment was extremely demanding on quality (VDA 6000, QS 9000, Lean Six sigma, statistical process control). Our original developed testers reached the GRR parameter better than 20%. It was the best results at that time at this shopfloor. Our team was estimated at local and global management very high.

Our main activities were in the field of developing automated test systems for Philips and Sagem. We were able in relatively short time (several month) to develop and to implement full test system for fax machines user functions verification. Besides this I was invited into architecture team (approximately 10 team members). Our tasks were to propose new architecture which for implementing MMS feature. AS-IS status was- No documentation at all, source code in Franch comments, 2 operating systems – master slave. After 6 months we have described the AS-IS architecture. Me in modeler Enterprise Architect, colleagues in VISIO. The final results were – the product was canceled. But the model, not drawing in VISIO is for me still useful. The era of documentation in traditional manner is over - drawings, texts in MS word, cannot be carriers of primary information. The big challenge for IT is new paradigm of collaboration – Modeling, common repository, instant knowledge sharing.
