Dr. Roman Shlafer received his DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he studied under top reconstructive and cosmetic dentists. He completed his graduate studies at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies, learning from the Center’s founder, renowned dental expert Peter Dawson, DDS. Dr. Shlafer, also graduated from the Pride Management Institute. Since its foundation in 1976, the Pride Foundation has used education and training to improve its members’ dental practices by emphasizing patient-first care. Dr. Shlafer has also participated in recent continuing education programs led by the Pride Management Institute. His participation in these programs has enhanced his skills as a cosmetic and laser dentist.Dr. Roman Shlafer, went into private practice in 1986 in Farmington. Since then, Dr. Shlafer has continually enjoyed the most rewarding aspect of his career: being able to see the delight in his patients’ faces when they see their transformed smiles.
