Goal oriented engineer driven by knowledge, experience and ambitions in the sphere of network technologiesMy responsibilities:-support and functioning of the FTTH network, Ethernet network, DVB-C. Based on the services requirements and SLA from Product/Marketing Management, I was collaborate to define the Technical Solutions to be implemented on the FTTH network, taking into account the interoperability aspects with legacy Ethernet backbone network, Gateways (STB, WIFI routers) and Service platforms TV/OTT/Internet.Also:-management technic services with field operations specs and network engineers.-control up testing configurations in a lab environment, equipments, reporting, analyzing bugs and detailed technical bug reporting.-define fiber access network/services solutions, which includes service architecture definition, equipment configuration.My main activities are:-Discussion with the business units and product/marketing managers to collect&clearly understand their requirements-Translate the business requirements in network/services architectures, propose improvements-Engineering of the network equipment/management applications for the services provision-Requirement definition for the IT integrations.-Lab evaluation&E2E testing-Problem reporting, follow-up, checking on possible workarounds-Support to the guidelinesMy skills:-Technical:Good knowledge of IP networking, fixed access network: Broadband Forum TR156&101, ITU-T G.984.x series, IEEE 802.3. DVB-C, EuroDocsis.Network protocols: IEEE 802.11, 802.1Q, PPPoE, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, LACP, Quality of service on L2,L3 networks (policing, shaping), Network security-Analytical troubleshooting and problem solving-Experience in Ethernet/IP and CATV network engineering-Personal:Result and customer orientedGood coordination, planning and organizational talents, communication and analytical skillsQuality orientedHigh sense of responsibility, autonomous and team work.
