Roman is an independent film director, producer and innovator from Vienna, Austria who has worked for 30 years in film and television industry. He initiated numerous nationally and internationally awarded media and education projects (ORF Goes to School, CLIP 2000, etc.). From 2006 to 2009 he was the president of the Association of Content Industries. Since 2011 he is an Expert Innovation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Roman is a startup-activist and an serial entrepreneur, was elected for startup acceleration program at the global accelerator “Plug and Play Tech Center” headquartered in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley, USA where he has initiated the new European innovation movement “12 Entrepreneurs” and “Digital Entrepreneurs”, a winning Big Idea for Digital Agenda - Europe's new strategy for the digital economy. Roman plans to launch (after several years of R&D, including beta release) the film 2.0 factory "Hercules Filmnetwork" - production network connecting film with internet crowds. 2016 he was engaged as media expert and workshop leader for the project "Community TV goes Serbia".
