● Raised over J$11Bn dollars via debt (corporate bonds) and equity (common shares, private equity, & preference shares) for companies operating in the financial services, energy, manufacturing, real estate, and agricultural sectors. ● Acted as the lead manager on the record breaking Dolla Financial Services Initial Public Offering, which is the first company to raise the maximum amount of $500Mn on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market and the most (950%) oversubscribed in history, receiving a total subscription of J$4.76Bn. ● Acted as the lead manager on the Home Choice Enterprise Limited private equity transaction, where VMIl acquired a minority stake in the business. ● Acted as the lead manager on the establishment of the JASMEF Private Equity Fund as well as lead efforts to close the the first round of raising capital for the fund. ● Acted as the lead manager for the reverse acquisition of SSL Venture Capital Limited by MFS Capital Partners on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

This was facilitated through the inputting of data into excel, using the data to create charts/diagrams, developing summary reports, and presented the same to the executive management team. ● Provided performance analytics through the collection and assessment of data from the various departments in the company, including Operations and Systems, Accounting and Finance, Asset Management, Sales, Branch Operations, the Service department, Private Wealth Management, the Call Centre and ICU/Compliance, ● Updated and monitored dashboards comparing actual performance data to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), thereby helping management to identify problem areas, improve efficiency, and make better decisions.

Assisted in the processing of the WISYNCO IPO transaction. My responsibilities included opening accounts for new clients, using banking software to ensure that the data provided from applicants were in line with the rules in the prospectus and inputting data into systems to be sent to the JCSD. I also interacted with clients and guided them in completing their KYC data and the application for ordinary shares.

After winning the Sagicor Investments/Jamaica Stock Exchange Online Trading competition for University Students, I was awarded an internship in the Treasury and Capital markets department at Sagicor Investments. My tasks involved analyzing the financial statements of publicly listed companies and the IPO’s that came out during that period.

This was done by setting up marketing activation booths to promote the company's financial products at events and facilitating the opening of both savings and investment accounts.
