In a fast-paced and exciting environment, I assisted the administrative staff and counselors of Camp Riverlea in making their summer sessions a success. My responsibilities included managing attendance, ensuring smooth operation of the bus transportation system, taking professional photographs for the camp social media page, sending mass emails, speaking with parents, and generally lending a hand wherever I could help.

In this position I was a care provider for a power wheelchair user with a muscular dystrophy condition. I assisted them in going about their morning routine, helped care for their pets, and transported them to and from work, appointments, and recreational activities.

I returned to UPS for my second holiday season as a delivery helper.

My role at New Hope Market encompassed food preparation in a commercial setting, utilization of kitchen equipment, adherence to food safety guidelines, and interpersonal communication with employees and restaurant customers. In addition to opening for breakfast in the mornings and making a wide selection of rotating deli case salads and items, I also have experience managing large custom meal orders, preparing and assembling catered meals, and operating as a line cook.In a kitchen predominantly composed of monolingual speakers of either English or Spanish, as a speaker of both languages, I facilitated communication between staff members by rapidly translating orders and other time-sensitive information with efficiency and accuracy.

I accompanied a UPS driver on his daily route and assisted with delivering the high volumes of packages encountered during the holidays. This position involved close collaboration with the driver of the truck, physical activity such as lifting heavy objects and encountering varied terrain, and interpersonal interaction with both residential and business customers.

My current position specializes in supporting our cross-platform integrated customers in their Auto-rostering and single sign-on needs. I build customer-facing relationships with school and organization leaders in my territory, which now includes but is not limited to Los Angeles Unified School District, while simultaneously performing syncs, troubleshooting, and managing more technical aspects of subscription maintenance internally.

I assisted and conducted outreach to one of IXL's largest and most unique customers, Los Angeles Unified School District, wherein student and teacher information from the district SIS (Student Information System) is synced directly to IXL via SFTP or API connection. I troubleshot for teachers and administrators and analyzed the volume and variety of incoming requests to support the Integrations team.

Through IXL's busy back-to-school season, I assisted hundreds of schools and districts with setting up student rosters, organizing classes, and timely on-boarding so that every IXL user can get the most out of their subscription. I spent the rest of my time optimizing my workflow, sharing skills with my team, and continuing to support educators.

At Gator Corner Dining Center on the University of Florida campus, I prepared and served meals to my fellow students. This challenging position not only required me to learn and maintain working knowledge of a different skill set for each food station in the establishment, but taught me to plan my time, multitask, and work as a member of a team.

I observed a talented mathematics educator's high school classroom environment and, under her guidance, taught her students Algebra II. While in the end I made the decision not to pursue teaching in order to focus on my study of mathematics, it was an educational and challenging experience that deepened and developed my communication skills, both verbal and visual.

I tutored students one-on-one from elementary school to college levels, in mathematics as well as other subjects. I never knew what my schedule would be until I arrived at the office - this position developed my versatility, resourcefulness, and ability to quickly recall how to solve problems I hadn't recently seen.
