As Senior Media Relations Specialist with CCSA my responsibilities include developing and enacting external communications strategies to promote the awareness of CCSA's harm reduction mandate within an extensive national and international stakeholders landscape (the United Nations, International NGO's, the Canadian Government, etc.). My long-term goal is to raise awareness of the societal benefits associated with the research, consensus-building and commentary on substance abuse trends and policies produced by CCSA.

During my time with CounterPath I was responsible for establishing corporate relationships with media and analysts globally. In addition, upon joining the company I implemented a full scale corporate communications plan to augment existing marketing endeavors.

During my time with NewHeights I managed the company's corporate communications department. During that tenure we achieved a variety of high profile press, including the cover of Canadian Business Magazine. NewHeights was acquired by CounterPath Corporation.

During my time with Mitel I ran their corporate communications department. Highlights included interviews on CNBC's Kudlow & Cramer, features in publications such as the Wall Street Journal and PC Magazine, and the opening of Mitel's New York City office - which included a press event involving Sir Terence Matthews and NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
