Firefighting and Rescue: Responding to fires, accidents, and other emergencies to provide firefighting services, conduct rescue operations, and extricate people from dangerous situations.Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Administering first aid and providing medical assistance to victims during emergencies, including medical incidents and accidents.Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Operations: Dealing with hazardous material incidents, such as chemical spills or leaks, and ensuring proper containment and cleanup.Urban Search and Rescue (USAR): Conducting specialized search and rescue operations in urban environments, including collapsed buildings and other structural emergencies.Community Engagement: Educating the public about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and conducting community outreach programs to raise awareness.Incident Command and Control: Coordinating and managing emergency incidents on the ground, ensuring effective deployment of resources and personnel.Fire Safety Inspections: Conducting inspections of commercial and residential premises to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.Training and Development: Participating in regular training programs to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest techniques and equipment.Operational Support: Supporting the smooth functioning of the SCDF through administrative, logistical, and technical roles.
