CurrentAdvocating Recreation Programs:- Effectively communicate the significance of recreation programs to the community through engaging presentations and public meetings.Community Needs Assessment:- Regularly assess community needs and foster positive community relations by strategically planning and executing routine visits to neighborhoods, schools, and community gatherings.Management and Coordination:- Provide leadership, coordination, and support for full-time recreation staff and diverse programs across multiple community facilities.Program Evaluation:- Conduct productive staff meetings to collaboratively plan, evaluate, and address challenges related to program content and techniques, ensuring the smooth operation of recreational initiatives.Interdepartmental Collaboration:- Work in close collaboration with various City departments and agencies on a range of projects and tasks, fostering effective partnerships to enhance the impact of recreation programs.Communication and Documentation:- Prepare polished materials, including draft news releases, reports, flyers, correspondence, studies, computer presentations, grant requests, fundraising programs, and preliminary budgets, to effectively convey information and support organizational objectives.
