Editor-in-chief at the Sicilian Post and founder of Sicilian Communication. Journalist, since 2010 he has worked as a contributor for the newspapers "La Stampa", "La Repubblica" and "La Sicilia". Creator of the ARIA tool (whose prototype was funded by Google DNI in 2018), which uses AI to transform automatically text into infographics. Since the same year, he has been promoting the international workshop "Il giornalismo che verrà" in Catania, which involved as keynote speakers, teachers, and panelists some prominent figures of the international media such as Jeff Jarvis, Lars Boering, Madhav Chinnappa, Laura Silvia Battaglia al-Jalal, Agnese Pini, Derrick de Kerckhove, Domenico Quirico, Luciano Fontana and others. Giorgio Romeo is author of the books: Visioni, in viaggio con la Scuola Superiore di Catania (University of Catania 2018); Il giorno dopo (Sicilian Post 2020); Turi Ferro, il primattore (Domenico Sanfilippo editore, 2021); L’unica donna nel CDA (Guerini Next, 2023).
