The team I worked with prepared various activities to introduce the students with the campus, learn some of the basics for engineering courses, and collaborate to complete a design project.We asked the students to develop circuits to measure sound, set up micro controllers, and write basic C level programs. My primary role in as a mentor was to help students find errors in their circuits, but more importantly to share my experiences with them so that they could be prepared for college. It was an intense week, but immensely gratifying.
