Monitoring - maintaining positive relationships with landowner partners while mutually assuring ongoing protection of conservation valuesQuantifiable Results:- Closed 2 easements totaling over 600 acres of newly conserved lands in Hays County, Texas- Successfully wrote for State and/or Federal funding for 4 conservation projects effecting over 2,600 acres of land in the Texas Hill County- Outreach with landowners has resulted in the potential for an additional 10,000+ acres of conservation- Produced 2 new Baseline Documentation Reports (BDR) with an additional 3 BDRs in progress- Performed 25+ Annual Monitoring Visits- Given 6 invited presentations to stakeholder and landowner partners concerning various conservation topics

• Oversee management of 14 county Hill Country South service region, office, and staff.• Project management including building proposals and project budgets, supervising contractors and employees, and acting upon multiple stakeholder interests.• Account/landowner relationships including civilians, military institutions, non-profits, and government.• Provide immediate and/or long term technical guidance to private landowners regarding land/wildlife management.• Utilize adaptive management strategies in navigation of landowner stewardship goals and benchmarks of success.• Provide 1-d-1w open space property tax consultation and landowner representation to County Appraisal Districts (CAD). • Draft maps utilizing ArcGIS, public data, and ground-truthed GPS data.• Performed over 250 site visits throughout 40+ counties of Texas. • Experienced with game, non-game, and endangered species management and policy. • Thoroughly administered 200+ state/county applications for 1d1w wildlife management valuation conversion.• Managed over 40 ungulate surveys utilizing traditional spotlight, distance sampling, and remote camera survey techniques. Provided detailed reports with management recommendations and strategies.• Performed over 300 avian surveys utilizing breeding bird, winter and resident bird, and endangered species protocols. • ESA reports for USFWS or other regulatory entities.• Provide ecological consultation for developers instituting land ethic and purposeful restrictions on community scale developments.

• Placed, maintained, and documented wildlife management products including protein feeders, platform turkey feeders, songbird nest boxes, rainwater guzzlers, and quail stations. • Extensive mechanical and chemical brush control including Ashe juniper, mesquite, huisache, pricklypear, yaupon, and willow baccharis.• Exotic vegetation management within riparian corridors targeting Chinese tallow, Chinaberry, privet, ligustrum, and elephant ear. • Survey lead on traditional spotlight and distance sampling ungulate surveys.• Predator management practices including red imported fire ant and Brown-headed Cowbird control (permitted).• Extensive data collection and documentation for use with CAD annual reports and landowner records.
