I characterize myself for being a proactive person with a strategic mindset, always focused on being clear and precise in my communication.🏠I was born and raised in Montevideo (Uruguay) until I was 11, and then moved with my family to Barcelona, a city that has adopted me and has become my home. Having lived this experience at that young age, has given me many of the qualities that I consider key in my current self: proactive, open-minded, curious, flexible, innovative, involved and always with enthusiasm. 🏑During 17 years I have been a field field hockey player, most of them in national category. Thanks to this experience I feel a great passion for leadership, sacrifice and teamwork, and I believe that successful leaders must be able to take risks.🎓I studied Food Engineering at the UPC, a career that opened the doors to the professional world. In my student years, I participated in the Colla castellera and led the Forum Agrobiofood (now Bioenginy, a group of students who invite companies in the agri-food sector to bring them closer to university talent). The Master in Food Quality of Animal Origin at the UAB, allowed me to further deepen my technical knowledge of the agri-food sector.🎓Thanks to the Executive Master in Operations and Innovation at ESADE, I have managed to develop and expand my business knowledge and develop my strategic approach, mainly focused on continuous improvement and innovation from the operations area.💼For 7 years I have developed project management functions in Mérieux Nutrisciences, executing technical projects for different sectors of the food industry. I was able to develop my commercial and customer service skills, as well as crisis management, innovation and project management. As a Customer Experience Specialist I was able to add value to my customer management skills as well as broaden my international experience.🌠As Category Manager at Lainco, I continue to strengthen my knowledge in the operational and supply chain area, combining negotiation with the coordination of different areas of the company to optimize internal operations.
