CurrentMy role as a Commercial Operations Manager can be categorized under 4 broad categories :1. Risk evaluation & enablement• Ensure that we can execute contracts profitably by managing risk associated with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Performance Guarantees, Scope, Costs, etc., particularly for multi-region projects.• Ensure that we manage risks and execution per our Delegation of Authority (DOA); DOA Ownership & Documentation.• Ensure accurate costing is done for complex and/or large deals particularly Key Account deals and deals that are not managed using our commercial tools (SFDC etc. ).2. Contract management#Lead contract management including terms and conditions negotiations, contract drafting and consultation with legal, risk & contracts teams as needed.#Lead contract documentation and renewal strategy for Key Accounts.3. Channel partner direction• Enable commercial team to develop a sound Indirect/Channel management strategy by providing objective feedback during new channel partner onboarding process.• Lead contract and price-volume agreement negotiations with channel partners.4. Commercial tools and CRM#Contract Templates: Develop and maintain Framework Agreement, standard Terms and Conditions, Proposal and Costing template.#Maximize use of CRM tools to ensure complete business visibility and improve automation and speed of the sales enabling function.Key Achievements● Maximized CRM tool usage by attaining full coverage of existing business and new pipelines via Salesforce, automating sales analysis and forecasting, and shifting the deal approval process to Salesforce, resulting in a 50% reduction in turnaround time for analysis, forecasting & approvals.● Implemented a strategic pricing plan that led to three consecutive landmark years for South Asia, achieving an average annual price increase of 5%. ● Orchestrated the commercial strategy for a New Product Introduction (NPI) that contributed to a 2% increase in topline growth.
