Responsible for ensuring that the shift operating crew achieves set daily metallurgical and production performance targets in a safe, environmentally responsible and cost effective manner. Also to ensure strict and continuous adherence to laid down task, procedures and daily instructions. Directs, supervises and controls operation of all concentrators to produce copper and zinc concentrates which will meet the quality standards set by the company.

Takes special samples from the plant for flotation testing and OSA. Conducts laboratory tests and performs metallurgical laboratory works for proper monitoring of plant parameters.

Responsible in carbon harvest, acid wash, cold cyanide wash and stripping process. Prepares and performs the electrowinning and smelting process in the gold room. Also responsible for the preparation of all reagents.
