• Provide structural framing system, layout, and member sizes of the buildings for preliminary stage including reinforcement rates.• Check loading requirements for dead loads, live loads, wind, earthquake, blast loads, soil/earth pressure, water pressure, and buoyancy and provide loading diagram.• Check the stability of the buildings and structures for lateral drift, deflection, uplift, sliding, overturning, bearing pressure, torsion, and ground settlement.• Conduct internal technical review and coordination with the other discipline (Architectures & MEP).• Perform detailed design and analysis of the structural elements: Raft/Matt foundation, piles, pad/strip footings, beams, slabs, walls, columns, corbel, steel members and elements, etc.• Review the working stress and strength design of the elements: flexure, axial, shear, punching, crack width, and local deflections (initial, incremental, and long term).• Provide detailed design and sketches of reinforced concrete sections and connections.• Verify and check the code requirements including seismic detailing requirements.• Portal frame, truss, steel members (Beam, columns, bracing) design.• Steel connection detail and design (Moment & shear connection - end plate, fin plates, cleat angles, bolted connections, weld connections, base plate, etc.)• Supervise draftsmen - drawing submissions, check and ensure quality of the drawings.• Site supervision role – review and approve contractor’s submittals, shop drawings, response to RFI (request for information), and site inspection.
