Hi, I’m Rommi. I have over 15+ years of experience under my belt in commercial roles in the technology space across New York, Sydney and Singapore. I’ve always been drawn to the human behavioural aspect of technology: Why does a customer use this product and how? Entrepreneurial by nature and profession, I find it deeply rewarding to uncover hard-to-find trigger points that make the most difference to a customer’s success and deliver strategic solutions to solve them. This is why the bulk of my experience has been focused on customer success and account management: from delivering 110% to target for 5 consecutive quarters at YouTube by developing deep customer relationships, to growing a Twitter portfolio of accounts 92% Q/Q by solving on-boarding roadblocks, to closing the 20% gap to APAC’s quarterly target by persuading key customers to adopt a new optimisation strategy. I excel at understanding the user to provide customer solutions for revenue growth. Whether it was a startup or big tech, my keen interest in learning different facets of the technology space, solution selling and its relationship to customer success led me into entrepreneurial roles within each company. After a rewarding maternity leave and pursuing personal projects, I look forward to connecting with folks also keen on driving customer success in the technology space in APAC.
