Responsibilities and Duties:➢ Organize and arrange safety and reliability-performance testing, mechanical measurement (for plastic and metal parts), and 3rd party certification base on the related safety standards and customer specifications➢ Maintain and ensure the Laboratory procedures (ISO 17025)➢ Monitor project milestones and trigger all resources necessary to ensure timelines are met➢ Project follow up from the stage of Product development to Production➢ Monitor and implement environmental requirements (ROHS, PAH, REACH)➢ Manage and monitor the cost, manpower, equipment to ensure the project is still in budget.➢ Liaise with 3rd party approbation agencies ,and with customer on testing requirement and feedback for appropriate improvement action➢ Ensure the company’s equipment calibration issues➢ Develop necessary test plans base on FMEA findings➢ Develop new testing methods, search new testing technologies (temperature measurement with infra-red camera) ➢ Train and lead 50 employees in safety test, mechanical measurement, adherence to work order specifications, and equipment maintenanceResults:Setting-up a new Safety and EMC testing laboratory where I plan, organize, review and implement the laboratory policies and procedures, source and purchase equipment Developed automated daily status report that helped to monitor and increase the efficiency for the laboratory.Successfully developed the laboratory to the highest stage of TMP for VDE and under preparation and discussion with KEMA for the first approved Manufacturing testing laboratory in South China for SMT
