Provided Administrative Leadership and Community Centered Management for the launch of “South Bend Alive” – City of South Bend’s Opportunity Grant funding program designed to reduce incidents of gun violence in the community. This launch yielded 122 applicants city-wide and provided funding to 50 Grantees focused on engaging youth through creative, constructive, and sustainable projects, programs, and initiatives. Developed, and implemented “I AM GVI” Media Project, an informational and community-centered media-based product, to re-brand GVI in the South Bend community and provide vital resources to our most at-risk community members in effort to reduce group violence, shootings, and homicides in the city of South Bend.Successfully taught, mentored, and led100% of my senior high school students to graduation, employment, and social-emotional maturity by way of JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) while cultivating a sense of restorative justice, social responsibility, and cultural sensitivity both inside and outside of the Washington High School walls during the 2018-19 schoolyear.
