Responsible for management and development of strategic initiatives for the development and roll-out of new business opportunities, and joint venture negotiations for films, tv shows and other entertainment content. Key AccomplishmentsDeveloped and produced original 3G video content for Movistar /Telefonica .Developing 424.tv a multiplatform music channel for Telefonica.Directs high quality concept commercials for clients, such as DirectTV, HBO/Cinemax and Discovery Networks.Created the Digital Studio launching our two new digital films "El Señor Presidente" and "Pablo, Angel o Demonio", currently in the Festival circuit. Designs "3 Screen Production" initiative for advertising agencies.Currently developing original content strategy, Branded Entertainment shows & spots, IPtv and 4G strategies for major international clients in accordance with the agencies vision.Angostura Media, under Romulo's leadership, recently launched ZUT.tv a music channel for web, mobile and television. ZUT is a curated video stream, with On Demand, Playlist and Socila TV capabilities and is proving to be a good example of 3 screen content delivery, OTT or TV Everywhere. ZUT airs 12 shows with VJs as they present the best of global music, under the AVOD model.

RCTV is the 55 year old leading TV network in Venezuela, shut down by the Chávez government); To develop, produce & supervise new TV show ideas and media initiatives, such as HD production, Digital Films, IPtv, Mobile content & Webzine project. Build the External Production and Co Production division. Launch & oversee Production & Co-Production of several weekly shows & specials, targeted towards young-adult audiences (18-24) such as Drama, Game & reality shows, Musicals & Documentaries. Negotiate strategic alliances and co-production partnerships internationally. Design and produce key offers for our Upfront season. Manage R&D budget and increase Profit over Losses with new income generation. Key accomplishments:Developed the Digital Film Division and Digital Media content initiatives. Generated additional income for the station, through the generation of new sales tools. Developed, built & supervised the External Production and Co Productions division for the Station & Digital Films & New Media. Developed and produced 16 new branded shows for the station. Helped turn around programming performance, improving ratings/share for key prime time slots. Produced & Directed several telefilm, and the first feature movie produced by RCTV in 20 years

Key member of Management team in charge of building the Discovery Television Center in Miami. Develop and implement business development, creative, production and sales for the new venture. Oversee development of branded content and packages/graphics/music for all Discovery Int. Networks (Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, People & Arts, Discovery Kids, Travel & Adventure, Discovery Health). Optimize revenues for Discovery Networks Latin America/Iberia and hire the best production, creative and post production staff available. Key accomplishments:Built the Production, graphics, audio and post production divisions of the Discovery Television Center. As a separate DCI business unit, we secured a record setting average annual account growth, capitalizing on relationship building among DCI branches and negotiating skills to land lucrative, high margin accounts (Discovery International Networks, Discovery US and the Digital networks). Introduced new cost saving and efficient methods of providing creative services to On Air and Advertising Sales clients, such as IBM, Kodak, HP, Jeep, Sony Electronics among others.

Be a part of the original launch team of MTV Latino in Latin America, assuring the production quality that the US brand provides. Manage responsibilities of MTV International production staff, supervising Managers, Producers, Writers, Associate Producers and Production Assistants. Help to develop and implement new branded shows for the new station. Act as a liaison between MTV-US and MTV Latino. Collaborate with affiliate stations to define, assess and plan branded initiatives for each region.Key accomplishmentsDeveloped procedures for local production, according to the MTV brand. Created new methods for producing musical segments adapted for all territories. Selected and hired key personnel for the new station. Designed and produced interstitial strategies oriented to develop new advertising relationships. Created and produced several new programming ideas and events, such as In Situ or Rock´n Gol.
