GM Technical Center, Warren Campus is home to 20,000 GM engineers, designers, technicians and the center of the company’s engineering effort. The campus spans across 640 acres of land and consists of 35 buildings. These include the centers for Design, Manufacturing, Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Performance, Powertrain and Engine Test Cells, as well as Research & Development and the Climatic Wind Tunnel. Lead team of engineers to manage all aspects of project activities related to design, renovations and construction of facilities and infrastructure systems throughout the GM Technical Center Warren Campus. Worked closely with customers to define project scope of work. Developed Request for Professional Services scope of work and Engineering Bid documents to hire A/E firms. Reviewed A/E's construction documents for accuracy and compliance with the scope of work. Ensure projects are designed & constructed within budget, on time, and assure compliance with General Motors standards and code requirements. Worked with GM purchasing to manage solicitation of compititive bids by preparing construction bid documents, conducting bid process, evaluating contract bids and proposals, and awarding contracts. Interfaced with GM Purchasing to process purchase requisitions, reviewed for accuracy to approve all applications for payments and related project invoices. Developed architectural construction documents in AutoCAD including spicifications and bill of materials to support UAW skilled trades.• Prepare RFES scope documents for bids to hire A&E’s.• Prepare construction bid documents and conduct bid process for construction bidders.• Appropriation and Construction cost estimates.• Project space planning and layout.• Architectural construction documents in AutoCAD and specifications to support GM UAW labor forces.• Project timeline schedule.• Facilities evaluation for regulatory and security compliance including ADA requirements.• Project files management.

Supervised and coordinated the AutoCAD production of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical construction documents. Set-up AutoCAD drawings in accordance with the company drafting standards including file naming, external reference file procedures, layers, linetypes, and text styles for quality, consistency and ease of use.
