Led and contributed to the latest version of the ted.com website using React and Next.js. Played a pivotal role in enhancing the website's user interface, optimizing performance, and improving overall user experience. Shipped a completely rewritten version of the TED app using React Native. Leveraged React Native's cross-platform capabilities to develop a mobile app that could run seamlessly on both iOS and Android devices. Developed and shipped many internal publishing tools and various other web projects for TED.

Technical leader for a team of skilled user experience developers and designers. My primary responsibility was to oversee and drive the successful execution of various projects, including website redesigns, web application UI development, prototyping, and full-stack development.As one of the early hires, I was the architect and principal engineer of Yummmy — one of the company's first products. I developed a full-stack application using Rails for the backend and Ember.js for the frontend. My role encompassed architecture design, backend and frontend development, integration, testing, security implementation, and team leadership. The result was a robust, user-friendly, and innovative solution, which even got featured on Brazilian TV.

I played a key role in developing and maintaining robust web applications using Ruby on Rails. I handled full-stack development, including front-end implementation and database management. My responsibilities also included test-driven development, bug fixing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

My first “real job”. I worked as a full-stack developer in a research group inside the university. I first heard/made use of the agile methodologies and learned how real software is made. I used Python with Zope/Plone, HTML and CSS.
