A sought after speaker and advisor, Rochelle helps people plan for and respond to legacy and emerging issues across a variety of industries. From strategy development to policy, litigation, executive and crisis communications, her hallmark is bringing the right people together to share engaging stories, answer hard questions, and resolve issues. As Vice President and Head of Communications at Robinhood, Rochelle led corporate/executive, internal, litigation/policy, strategic and product communications functional areas. Rochelle oversaw communications about changes to the company's business structure and the launch of Robinhood Retirement, the first ever IRA with a match. In January 2023, she helped launch Sherwood Media, LLC a Robinhood subsidiary that will be a home for news and information about the markets, economics, business, technology, and the culture of money. Sherwood Media, LLC will build on the success of Snacks — a daily markets and business newsletter — which has one of the largest audiences in the country.Rochelle was previously a Director on the policy team at Meta (Facebook) where she focused on privacy, innovation, and the Metaverse. On the Metaverse specifically, Rochelle was responsible for the management and initial deployment of the XR Programs and Research Fund, a two-year $50 million investment in programs and external research. Through this fund, Meta collaborates with industry partners, civil rights groups, governments, nonprofits and academic institutions to determine how to build Metaverse technologies responsibly. Prior to her policy role, Rochelle led litigation communications for the company along with product privacy policy communications for face recognition, location, friending, and data transparency. Rochelle is a member of the board of Callisto. Callisto's mission is to use technology to empower survivors of sexual violence. She began her career in the office of former U.S. Representative Steve Israel.
