Frontier Adjusters Inc (USA) : Part-time work with this insurance-industry, loss-adjusting investigations company, with the work performed wholly online from overseas. Reviewing police reports, court records, surveillance/investigation/security reports, credit/financial information, press articles, social-media/open-source information and advising as to possible further avenues for inquiries. Collating evidence and compiling reports for attorneys. Mainly relates to suspected fraud/theft.TUI Travel (Germany/UK) : assignments relating to the investigation of alleged theft / fraud and for 2024 this has been in various locations in Greece as well as in the Dominican Republic.Centinel Ltd (Hong Kong/Philippines) : Part-time basis with this private investigations/intelligence/security related company. Assisting and advising on issues including due-diligence inquiries, sensitive person investigations, anti-corruption/bribery, country security/intelligence advice.

Newly-created position covering the Highland and Argyle & Bute areas. Physical security of house & grounds/staff/visitors. Security projects, budgetary control and managing a team of full-time and part-time security personnel. Police liaison (counter-terrorism preparedness and crime prevention), involvement in resilience/major incident planning and internal HR type investigations. 33 years service of which the vast majority was served in the Criminal Investigation Department (and especially with intelligence units) investigating a plethora of crime types incl. firearms offences, robbery, drug trafficking, homicide, sexual assaults, fraud, money laundering etc. Three years in the Criminal Intelligence Bureau, Organised & Serious Crime Group (tactical intelligence countering firearm related offences, kidnapping & human trafficking).Six years in the Narcotics Bureau (trans-national intelligence & operations, extraditions etc, especially with the Australian, New Zealand, Philippine, Japanese, Macanese, UK and US law-enforcement agencies). Three years in the Commercial Crime Bureau (intelligence, investigations and prosecutions pertaining to counterfeiting, forgery and fraud. Local and trans-national).Three years with the Marine Police (intelligence relating to smuggling and human trafficking and a plethora of crime investigations). Two years with the Service Quality Wing conducting a force-wide, human resourcing project (CID manpower allocation). Three years 'on staff' at the Detective Training Centre with additional supervisory role in the Disaster Victim Identification Unit. The remainder of service was mainly spent in divisional/district CID units. Considerable involvement in joint operations/investigations with the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong.
