Process Safety Engineer/Facility Siting Coordinator
CurrentConduct and assist in investigations on equipment failures, management system failures and process issues. Conduct and participate in Management of Change (MOC). Also, provide assistance and training on the MOC process and investigations. Facility Siting System Subject Matter Expert, determining building locations for permanent and temporary building structures. Conducting studies for hazard contours for vapor cloud explosions, toxic releases, jet and pool fires and buildings designated as Shelter in Place. Assist process units in all areas of process safety, mainly supporting tanking, oil movements, an docks. Perform audits on building siting, MOC's, investigation reports, and recommendations. ABS certified auditor. Facility Siting Coordinator ensuring any new or temporary buildings meet the requirements of API 751/752/753/756. Coordinate the facility siting study and ensure that buildings are properly identified when not meeting the study results. Maintaining a building registry that identifies buildings and locations within the refinery. Aid groups in conducting MOC's when bringing in temporary buildings and/or tents and developing building permits for occupied buildings. Develop training for focus groups on facility siting requirements.
