As a network server specialist at Valencia College I am responsible for day to day Microsoft Windows System/Administration. Implement and manage new Technologies. Microsoft Lync 2013 Server Migration from Lync 2010, setup and manage Hyper-V in Cluster environment, Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010 server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012.Implement a new DMZ to secure Microsoft Lync Edge server with a new Cisco ASA.Migrated from Microsoft ISA 2006 to Microsoft TMG.Setup Microsoft Unified Access Gateway2010. Setup Microsoft Direct Access.Deployed Cisco and Extreme Lan Switching products.Upgrade an entire campus to all Extreme switches including the IDF ‘s to 10GB back bone.Plan, design and implement networks base on specific size needed per VLAN's etc.Monitored network availability using What’s Up Gold. Managed and monitored the network using a variety of tools, including Solarwinds Orion NPM, NCM, and NetFlow. Worked on Cisco Pix ASA5550 firewall, several Cisco 6500 series core switches.Worked on AudioCodes Routers SBA and SBC which integrate with Microsoft Lync server for Voice.
