Ron Baldwin has spent his 47+ year career building, acquiring and growing companies. As founder of Uncommon Giving Corporation, a generosity holding company, he is the visionary behind an innovative technology platform that will provide an “extraordinary giving experience” in the Workplace while serving people in need. Ron’s passion for serving people in extraordinary ways was the foundation for a previous start-up …which he founded in 2007 ….CrossFirst Bank, a boutique commercial bank located in Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Dallas. CrossFirst Bank grew to nearly $4 billion in assets under his leadership. At age 65 Baldwin moved to Founder and Chairman Emeritus to focus all of his energies on Uncommon Giving. CrossFirst Bankshares is now a $7 billion publicly traded bank holding company with the ticker symbol of CFB.Before founding CrossFirst Bank, Ron spent a majority of his banking career in leadership at Fourth Financial Corporation/BANK IV which grew from $200 million to $8 billion in assets before being acquired by Bank of America. He then became President and COO at Kansas-based Intrust Bank which increased assets from $1.2 billion to $3.2 billion during his nearly 10-year term. Ron is a board director of Kanakuk Ministries, a Christian athletic summer camp with more than 20,000 campers each year; and Kanakuk Institute, a post-college graduate program that prepares students to live a biblical life in any occupation. Ron previously served as a member of The Global Orphan Project’s Founders’ Circle; board member of The Signatry, A Global Christian Foundation; chairman of the Wichita State Foundation, with assets totaling $150 million; and as an independent trustee for American Independence Funds. Ron is an accomplished speaker on serving others and a soon-to-be published author.
