Was retired from work in 2007 due to an accident at work that left me with a brain injury I understand what it is like to live with a brain injury and what the families of people with brain injuries face on a day to bases since I retired I have been involved in support work at headway Cambridgeshire also on the board of the Evelyn community head injury service we work to make the treatment program better for other service users to date I am the chair of the P.D.S.I partnership board of Cambridgeshire we work with service providers and local government to improve the services for service users in the local community in the last three months I have taken the role of trustee with the Cambridge Alliance for independent living as I feel this is the way to get better services for all person with disabilities and be a voice for positive change and campaign on there behalf
