Ensured that all elements of the ISO Standards (QMS/EMS) were present and maintained in a manner that guaranteed continued certification. Created and maintained comprehensive Process Manuals for five (5) independent processes impacting 36 work centers. Process Manuals included: Department Metrics, Product/Material Specifications, Control Plans, Abnormal Conditions, Training, and Work Instructions. Assisted the Findlay Plant Operations ERP/SAP Launch Team. Led this team by being a SME (Subject Matter Expert) within Plant operations and Quality tests. Successfully met all critical path milestone deadlines and continue to support ongoing ERP launch objectives (2012 -13). A key player in the latest Project Management Training Program. This involves automation of new processes and equipment in Tire Assembly (SMM : complexed components and Steelastic Belt Cutter). Program consists of 6 Sigma tools. Lead and support several Continuous Improvement projects within the Tire Assembly Department. One project has reduced component scrap and cured tire conditions by 10%, (application speeds). Support efforts and assist with several Green Belt and Black Belt projects. Support efforts and assist with Kaizen events in the Tire Assembly Department. Lead efforts within the Findlay Plant during In-process Restrictions to make sure non-conforming product does not leave the Plant. Lead communication meetings with shop floor personnel in regards to Quality, Scrap, and Safety issues. Conduct Process and Internal audits within in the Findlay Plant and/or Corporate. Created and implemented a 6S program within the Tire Assembly Department. Created and implemented an Employee Training Program matrix focused on speed to competency. Other Responsibilities: Interim Quality Manager during position opening (2010).

This included the implementation of “spotting” improvements throughout three process departments. Reviewed all Findlay Plant Processes in an effort to reduce downgrade conditions and scrap costs.
